How to turn people against government through media:
One
way to destroy the government would be to advertise and expand the bad things
they do, such as if they say something wrong expand what they say and broadcast
it. Advertise
an alternative way of thinking, a new and better government. The media has a
huge influence on how people view what is happening. Another way to destroy the government would be to advertise and expand the bad things

Main issues related to media ownership
There are many issues related with media ownership. One of these reasons is that the storys may often be biased as the editors may not want the whole story and want to deceive the audience in believing what they want them to. Also powerful coperations are able to influence different media types with there infirmation there giving, which in most cases may not be all the information given. Another issue is that if a company grows it can access over companies and buy them, creating a conglomerate.

E!
The Channel "E!" was launched July 1987 in the United States and was originally called "Movietime". "Movietime" was founded by Larry Namer and Alan Mruvka and the controlling ownership was held by Consortium. It showed movie trailers, entertainment news and event and awards coverage however now it also airs many shows such as Fashion Bloggers, Total Divas and many shows based on the Kardashian family. Movietime changed its name to E! to accomidate the change of the channel as it started to cover film, telivision, music, daily gossip and fashion.
Murdoch's attack on BBC
Murdoch comments about companies like the BBC, who are funded by the license fee, making it hard for Broadcasters to stay active. He also says that compaired to other channels the BBC's income is gaurenteed for it is Dominant. Independant and Private journalists are finding it harder to succeed as they have to ask people to pay for the news this threatening their companies as they need to make money and profit.
Personally I think that it unfair the BBC is making people pay a license fee as it gives them a profit even if the people watching TV are not watching the BBC. However I dont see all Murdochs points are fair, this is shown when he says the BBC are to blame for the loss of profit as there are other factors that are linked to this reason such as being able to access news online for free.
